If you have a union:

If you experience harassment or discrimination and you have a union, you are part of an organization that has collected power to ensure everyone has more recourse. Contact your union rep to learn your rights and for assistance with filing a grievance and enforcing your contract protections. The union grievance process is a proven vehicle for addressing these inequities and making systemic change without sacrificing your career. You can also pursue recourse through state and federal agencies.

If you don’t have a union:

Without a union, your workplace may have offices or departments that specialize in hearing complaints that are raised. On university campuses, you can seek recourse against harassment or discrimination under Title IX. The unfortunate tendency can be for employers to protect those within their ranks rather than thoroughly investigate complaints against members of their organization.
